Agreed.  Not unique, but above the norm for sure.

So I've heard, but I thought it was worth asking.  Some vendors are
better than others w.r.t. community requests for support.  At least
nvidia does make an effort to provide working drivers for their cards
- not so sure about multiple cards (and clearly that is your case).

If you're running 10k dries, you are definitely beyond the norm.
Those are still new (and expensive) enough that most people don't
invest in them yet, although I'll admit that I'm amazed to see so many
5400rpm drives still going for about the same prices as the 7200s.
*So* not worth the price reduction....

OTOH, I'm now looking (after I get the UPS I've been craving for
years) at a boot/root SSD.  They're pricey but WAY fast and sturdy.

But, none of this is helping your situation.  I'm not sure where you
should go from here - good luck and do let us know if you find "the
answer."
