How to remove the package mouseemu on Lucid Lynx because keyboard doesn't respond.

Hello,

I'm using Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 Beta.

After an update and reboot, the keyboard on the login screen doesn't 
respond any more.

On Launchpad, they said to remove the package mouseemu.

How to boot on the console login, please?
