About programming languaje for ubuntu(linux in general)

I think Python, C++ and C# are the most popular languages for desktop
apps on Linux this days. C++ is especially popular in the KDE world, C#
seems mostly used for Gnome apps. For Gnome Vala could be of interest,
too.

I'm using Python.
