amsn

i'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem but i'm having a couple of problems with amsn...the first and most annoying is that when i go to go into the preferences menu it terminates the program, the second is that dialogue boxes fill the whole screen and often do not have all of the relevant options on them. if anyone has any idea how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated. thank you
