how do I print from wine to pdf

Great! That's the missing tip I've been looking for .. thanks a load, 
now I don't need M$ anymore!

It's a bit too big to upload.  I've tried all the ooo before.  The 
problem is that the pictures and drawings get shifted out of place and 
then the rest of the document is out of alignment.  I tried once to drag 
a graphic back where it originally was, and it upsets a whole bunch more 
of the formatting.

The MSwordview with cups-pdf is a good solution, since the wordview 
license is so free.
