Partitioner does not show partitions

You might download newest knoppix v. 6.2 iso from here and burn it into a 
live cd:

http://www.knopper.net/knoppix-mirrors/index-en.html

It seems to be faster and better than older versions, I find.

When you boot enter: knoppix lang=da     (if you are danish) :-)

Then in a konsole open gparted, and try if you can see and create 
partitions of your choice.
