My apologies, I am still learning how to use a mailing list. It would seem
that I have broken a single thread into multiple parts.

Information:
Ubuntu 9.04 (jaunty)
Kernel Linux 2.6.28-16-generic
GNOME 2.26.1
I was able to record the following error messages:
18042.c: No controller found.
Pm_op(): platform_pm_thaw+0x0/0x50 returns -19
PM: Device i8042 failed to thaw: error -19
I am using a desktop not a lab top. To suspend Ubuntu is simply used the
context menu located to the right of the date and time. I only selected
hibernate, no hardware based methods were used. Power manager preferences
were left at their default options.
I did not know I needed a separate hard drive partition for a swap file. I
assumed the Ubuntu installation process automatically made one based upon
my hardware.

Damit, how do I keep making separate threads?
