Brasero won't copy a CD

Probably not the only one in the Ubuntu world but I am almost certain all
the respondents to your question do not have that problem. I have had some
problems with SoundConverter which was a codec thing.  Plenty of iso images
crap outs but audio cd burning generally without a problem.  Might want to
review all the various preference settings.

SoundConverter can do flacs. Do not know about burning a playable flac cd.
My "mp3" player can handle facs so I have given up on the whole disc matter.
