1280 X 728 update

NoOP:  It does well on my external monitor.  (17" wide screen), but on
my laptop (also wide screen-default 1280X768) I lose the bottom menu
bar. -so I just close the cover on the laptop.  I'm happy.

by the way, thanks for your dedication over the years.  I'm non geek and
post when I want to know something.  I'm glad I have a been familiar
with this users group over the years so that I can turn my head at some
of the BS postings that has been going on lately.  

for the new Ubuntu users that have join recently, you will pick up on
who is creditable and who is on some sore of a BS ego.
