Most companies seem to consider support as a cost rather than a
service - and thus, cut whereever possible. I would not be surprised
if the only reason they support the limited OS's that they do, is
because someone buying a big enough contract said 'support xxx or I'm
not interested' and they started supporting it. They'll drop it just
as quick. Don't take it personal, they support Windows under the same
terms, and will drop that whenever possible too.
If you find a company that considers support a feature, and does a
good job at it, I suggest sticking with them!
