By "fix", I assume you mean undo the misconfiguration that you introduced.

In your case HP is a hardware vendor - their responsibility is to
ensure your hardware is working properly.  If you choose to install an
OS that is not officially supported by HP (on your hardware), they are
not going to help you at all - nor should they.
