I read a bit for you on Wine and a bit on the Fate boards, it seems
that it can be done but all the posts were from like 2007 and having
problems.

You might be able to get your game working but it might be easier to
try out some new games. There are a TON of them and they are mostly
free. I saw this link today. Don't know anything about it but it does
list a lot of games and I know that at least some of them are very
good.

Maybe someone else here has tried it out and can give some better feed back.

Don't forget to look in the repositories first. Lots of good stuff there.

You might like planeshift, free and sort of like what you were playing.

supertux is fun but not quite like what you were playing.

Using Linux often means using new software. There are ton of good
games and even more bad ones. The hard part is finding the good ones
in the huge pile of bad ones.
