flash stopped working after update?!

People not being able to view flash was covered. *Losing* flash from a
fully functional system for no discernible reason was not covered.

(/var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so). Nothing to
configure.

There is only 1 program which provides xulrunner-flashplugin
(/var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so). Nothing to
configure.
