Openoffice 3 fails to start after upgrade

Computer-janitor has to be the most potentially destructive default
applications that I've run accross in Ubuntu. I don't think it was/is
ready for production yet...

@David: 9.10 comes with the Ubuntu'ized version of OOo 3.0.1 - meaning
that you get gstreamer sound & video, etc. You might want to give it a
spin.

  Regarding your manually installed OOo; you will need to reinstall.
However if you plan to do that, I recommend installing OOo 3.1.0rc2
(OOO310_m11) which is now available for download at:
http://download.openoffice.org/next/index.html
  http://download.openoffice.org/next/other.html#rc
It will install in /opt/openoffice.org3 and will not interfere with
OOo(U)3.0.1 - you can run both in parallel.
3.1.0rc2 is, hopefully, the last rc before final release. So it contains
quite a few bug fixes since OOo (standard) 3.0.1, see:
