Unable to install java 1.5.0

Hi Folks,

I have tried to install Java 1.5.0 thorugh synaptic, and in the middle of
installation, it prompted that it would not be able to install java docs,
but consequently in the end, it didn't installed java either and showed the
problem

E: sun-java5-doc: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit
status 1

Can anyone help me in solving the problem, any help will be hihly
appreciated.
