You can't go wrong with HP as far as Linux support goes.. but if I may
discourage you from this course in general... I think you would be
better served getting stand-alone scanner and printer. Especially if
you are buying an Inkjet, those are just the weak link in the chain. If
you do decide to go all-in-one, unless you really need the ability to
make color photocopies, I would strongly suggest a B&W laser unit
coupled with a stand alone inkjet (capacity based on your color printing
needs.)
The Brother All-in-One lasers have so far been very good, but driver
support is not entirely open source, and some rightly distrust the
packaging practices. However, they do work, and are cost effective for
moderate volume. (1000 pages a month or so)
