auto load kernel modul at boot time

Hi,
I would like the 'nf_conntrack_ftp' module to be loaded automatically.
I created a file '/etc/modprobe.d/iptables' and put a line in it:
   nf_conntrack_ftp

That's all.
Should I do something else in order to be sure the module will be loaded?
I cannot reboot right now in order to test.

PS: The modules have been renamed? it was 'ip_conntrack_ftp' a while ago...
