As a relative noob I would like to make a comment here about this mail
list. I see a lot of messages in answer to peoples questions, which is
a good thing, but then I see a ton of fighting after that about the best
advice/methods of help. That is not such a good thing.
If there are arguments such as this one, could they not be taken out of
the mail list so that new people to Ubuntu don't have to be exposed to
them? It would make it seem friendlier in here, and people would trust
the advice given to them more.
Just an observation, please take it as such.
