I don't see it as 'fighting' so much as it's a very hardcore discussion.
There are no right ways of doing things, but if we were to take those
discussions off-list I think that would be more of a disservice as it
keeps the n00bs from seeing things in more than one way and making up
their own minds on what's best for them.
Yes, it gets heated at times. But that passion is why we got into this
career in the first place. :)
