linux-image-2.6.27-2-generic: ssh sessions blocked (grave), dvd read blocked

Package: linux-image-2.6.27-2-generic
Version: 2.6.27-2.3
Severity: grave

ssh sessions are blocked - ssh becomes 100% unusable. This is
"grave". It is probably related to firewall - or possibly the other
problem I found. I haven't been able to narrow it down further.
(I hope that marking the #1 key administrative tool for all the networks
I've ever managed as unusable counts as "grave")

dvd video read is blocked on encrypted volumes (probably low priority
but annoying. I only tested a couple of disks though and data disks work
fine). Both problems might be related to new firewall code or perhaps
other security restrictions.
