Ubuntu custom iso: unable to install, root password required!

I looked thru all the email I've sent this list this year (because I'm
sure  I commented on the thread) and I'll be darned if I can find it
now either.  I kinda thought NoOp was in on it, but it's obviously not
a specific memory he has either....  Maybe I'm full of it, or maybe it
was longer ago than I think.

Either way, I'd invest a blank DVD in the try, and if it doesn't work,
 I'll donate a buck to UNICEF on Hallow'een in your name :-)     Or
not, and try NoOp's suggestions - he's more often right than me :-)
