firefox3: where are hidden the plugins settings?

   You were more than half wright:
   Both machines actually had both totem and mplayer... but
   the one which opened totem didn't have mozilla-player.
   Now remains the main questions:
     3 plugins are installed:
     totem, mplayer, realplayer (helix)
     - how  FX3 chooses the one to use?
     - how can I convince it to choose the one I want?
       the only way I found was to simply remove the unwanted
       plugins, but this seems rather crude, as they may be useful in an
       other case.

   I found a lot of documentation on the net about plugins, but not a
   single word about that.
