New system for ubuntu - recommended display hardware?

Yes, there are Intel graphics chips. There is one in my laptop and on the 
mainboard of my desktop. However for the desktop I prefer the Nvidia 
add-on card with the DVI output. I don't know of any add-on card with 
Intel graphics.
