Aah, you appear to have code for the Broadcom 43xx processor family.
It looks to be MIPS based RISC code. Is your PC such a machine?
Which ubuntu distro did you download? Did the link describe what kind of
machine it was for? (Linux will run on a swathe of target processors,
including intel, powerpc, mips, but a different build is required for
each.
If you post the link here, we can take a look at what kind of animal it
is.
