problem with nvidia geforce2 mx200

Replying to this separately as I didn't look at it in my reply; I
guess I must have missed it.

Is there any benefit to running nvidia-glx-new? I notice that Sabayon
ships with what they term is a beta nvidia driver. But if I'm getting
the same effects there, it doesn't seem that going to nvidia-glx-new
is going to help.
