Can't install Ubuntu Server 8.04 - Get White screen [SOLVED]

My apologies to the group, I should have researched this more before I sent
out the email.  I was able to install everything just fine after I added
vga=771 to the installation options (F6).

After booting from the CD, I perform the following steps -
>
>    1. Selected language: English
>    2. Selected: Install Ubuntu Server
>    3. I see the Loading Linux Kernel status bar complete

> Then a white screen
