Forgive me for a very noobie question, but what is he asking about here?
I'm really not that familiar with the internals of the kernel, but it
seems to me that he's asking about the schedulers base time slice (he
seems to be asking about a time slice length of 1ms). Is that correct or
am I just looking foolish?
I assume there is a reason that the kernel flavors would be compiled
with different time slices, is there a performance gain from a shorter /
longer time slice?
I apologize if this just a dumb question, or posted in the wrong list.
