True.  What's more, I _think_ gmail never even adds "references"
or "In-reply-to" headers.

Heck, no.  Get a decent mail program.  T-bird users have been begging for
years that it properly do "reply-to-list".  Mailman lists all have a header
for the List address, which a smart email program will use for replies.

It's _good_.  Second to none?  I think my filtering with bogofilter is at
least as good.
