Unable to use Ubuntu 8.04 live CD

You need to read what has been said. I asked and he told me where he 
gets the request to PROVIDE a password and it is long before he is able 
to do anything. It said you must provide a password to use the liveCD part.

As I said it sounds like a screw-up where Ubuntu makes these DVD's.
