Firefox 3.0 Whacked out

I had occasional issues with bookmarks and other things disappearing
when using Firefox 1.5. If I recall, messing with the add-ons fixed it.

I'd try starting Firefox from a terminal in safe mode (firefox
-safe-mode) and see if that solves the basic problems. If so, you might
then try disabling extensions and re-enabling them.
