I took the plunge and I'm using it to install on an XP box that isn't mission critical. But I'm thinking about using it to install ubuntu on a friends new Vista laptop. Any gotcha's I should know about? Thanks in advance.

I had a laptop with a CD drive. The BIOS wouldn't allow booting from the
drive, though. On the CD (somewhere) was a wubi program that copied some
files to the laptop's hard drive and then I could boot Ubuntu 7.10
easily.
