What about the patch fix mentioned in the above url. 
Do you do patches?  I don't; sounds like programing.
It seems like a lot of people were pissed that they
couldn't change the positioning of the app window and
that bugzilla wasn't too eager to give a quick fix. I
gathered that a workaround is to close a window and
restart it to place it in the last position or
alternatively start the apps in the order you wanted
them to appear in the tray. Yes, a PITA for something
you might want to do for a number of reasons.
