They are all hardware problems Therefore it doesn't matter wether it
is M$, Linux, Solaris or BSD. It may verry well be that newer burners
do not have this problem, I didn't test it. The speed issue is the
biggest problem usually. A IDE cable can supply only one HD at the
maximum speed of the HD.
