Recognizing Drives

Neil, is this just with Linux or  with Windows, too?  I ask because I've never had a problem with 
them being on the same cable before....   in fact, so far I've not had a problem with these.

I know I'm not into all the technical issues, but I rarely try to use both at once, except for 
reading data on one and listening to music or something on the other....

I'll save this eMail for future reference just in case I get bugged too much.
