Well...um...I thought maybe you inverted the track ball...and, you know,
sort of moved it around that way...you know what I mean?
There was a recent case of someone in one of our buildings that cleaned
a trackball with some material that took off the covering of the ball.
I think they used one of those bleach wipes that kill bacteria. The
optical sensors couldn't get a good reading off the ball anymore.
I don't know if it worked but my boss told her to try putting auto wax
on the ball to get it to work again.
