Bart, I appreciate your advice, but with my model of optic track ball, the SMOOOOOOTH and SHINY
aren't applicable. The optic part is behind the ball which is operated by the thumb.... See the
link in one of my previous eMails.
I DID see an improvement when I took it off the hard wooden desk top and put it on a folded shirt.
I wonder if a vibration of some kind coming through the desk may have caused that...
And I thoroughly clean the ball and socket daily, so even that shouldn't have been a real issue.
Anyway, except for the two page buttons not working, it seems to be working fine.
