Wireless in ubuntu will not work with static IP address - Wicd installed

Great! So ther you go Neils. You can use static IP with wireless internet. Even a better testimony. ;)
Call me old fashioned but I still like the old way of twisted pairs ;)

Yeah, that was my asumpption as well.

What's the encryption mechanism in newer APs? WPA2 or WEP?
