Nothing plays DVDs in Ubuntu Gutsy?

playback issues with Gutsy but plenty of people don't. Bill Mosely is
even using a very similar laptop to mine, mine is a Lenovo R60e or
something, and it works for him.

Is this a hardware specific issue? Or configuration specific? (I'm using
a pretty fresh Gutsy install though). Does anyone see anything in the
outputs I posted that suggests what the problem with my particular
laptop might be? Or is there anything else I could post?
