The driver that Screens and Graphics can use is a W2k/WinXP driver. Its
just an inf that describes the parameters the monitor can support. Its
worth giving that driver a try anyway.

I have Intel graphics and Screens and Graphics doesn't even work for me.

Screens and graphics with lots of references to VESA (which is the safe
mode fallback Gutsy uses) and the ATi binary driver.
Personally I would ignore Screens and Graphics is there for now and
install your own latest binary ATi driver and do a dpkg-reconfigure on
xserver-xorg (before installing the ATi driver).

I think there are lots of problems with:
1. Screens and Graphics
2. The binary ATi drivers
at present.
Search launchpad and if you can't find problems like yours then file new
bugs.
