Sound has gone after update to 7.10

Aflred, I checked mute option, it definitely was not on.  The speaker
icon showed it was functioning but no sound.  I did a asoundconf,
rebooted.  It still did not work.  Only after a few more reboot, all of
a sudden I got sound!
