Searching for a 64-bit non-crashing Xemacs

The subject says it all.  I'm running Ubuntu Edgy 64-bit and I've tried 
all of the available Xemacs executables.  I've tried Google searches, 
purge and reinstall, the whole nine yards, but Xemacs still crashes.  Is 
there a 3rd-party port of Xemacs that actually runs on 64-bit or do I 
need to run a different OS under Xemacs?  In my world, Xemacs is the 
platform, Linux is just the host.
