My Yahoo!- or iGoogle-like portal for home servers?

Is there any relatively easy-to-use web portal software suitable for 
installing on a home server?  The idea would be to give users a list 
of "modules" to include on their personalized page - maybe some RSS feeds, 
local weather, a couple of server-side applets like bookmark storage, that 
sort of thing.  Then, each user could use that for their home page.

I've been using My Yahoo! for years, and recently started playing with 
iGoogle.  I just hate that I'm storing my personal data on someone else's 
system when I have a shiny server sitting in my basement just begging to do 
the same.
