Set your H & V rates in xorg.conf.
Horizontal Frequency 30 ~ 93kHz
Vertical Refresh Rate 56 ~ 75Hz
So xorg.conf whould look like this:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "L203WT" (or whatever the identifier is)
Option "DPMS"
HorizSync 30-93
VertRefresh 56-75
EndSection
