[Feisty] Normal ways to kill xserver don't work

Well you can safely file it as a bug by the looks of it.
I mean, I installed Feisty yesterday, from Herd5 Live CD, then brought
it up to date (which included some Xorg updates a few hours ago), and
everything works perfectly. I can restart X using Alt+Ctrl+BackSpace,
or stop GDM, and X with it, by switching to a virtual terminal and
invoking: "sudo  /etc/init.d/gdm stop".

Maybe it's a specific problem/bug with your chipset or graphics card or
driver. My board has an nForce2 chipset, video card is Nvidia GeForce
6200, and I use the 3D/proprietary 'nvidia' driver.
