Unable to partition

Hi,
I also faced the same problem. Check if the partition is ntfs.
In that case it cant partition it.
Do a "chkdsk -f" in windows twice .
1) then either use ntfsrezise to partition the hardisk
Or
2) try manually partitioning the hardisk
Once the partition is done everything ll go fine. Atleast went fine for me
