Download the latest Gparted from sourceforge, burn it to cd, boot with
it and resize your partition graphically. Worked for me on this Sony
laptop. I now have: /dev/sda1 Fat32 Former recovery partition ( I use
bootable recovery DVD.), /dev/sda2 MSWinXPPro, /dev/sda3 Linux Swap,
/dev/sda4 Ubuntu 6.06.1. Entire repartitioning took less than 20 min.
only because I was careful I could have done it in 5.
