network newbie question

1. You can do the just plug-in approach.

Download gshare, and enable it.

sudo apt-get install gshare
gshare-manager.

Now you will have a ~/Shared Files/ directory where gshare will send and
receive files.

2. Download "Bonjour for Windows" in www.apple.com, install it in Windows,
then refresh
Network Neighborhood.
