setting up a feisty server install equivalent using debootstrap

I am installing feisty into a loopback file system to be used as a xen domU.
I have installed feisty using debootstrap.

but when i boot the domU i notice the environment is different then a
freshely installed feisty server install.

what steps do i need to take to make the environment the same as a
feisty server install?
