Sansa MP3 player does not mount

Did you put the e260 into MSC mode? (Settings -> USB Mode > MSC)

I have had mine since Early April 07, and have had no problems with it. 
I'm using 7.04, and it opens up and starts the application indicated 
under System > Preferences > Removable Drives and Media, tab Multimedia. 
I have mine set for Amarok, as that is my preference over the default, 
Rhythmbox. I have also been using the RockBox (www.rockbox.org) firmware 
as well, and can listen to ogg files as well as mp3.
