When its running , whether it is indexing or not, my system slows to
barely a crawl. Like right now, I have Thunderbird open, Firefox to the
GoogleDesktop Status page, and Gaim. Thats it. Thunderbird keeps turning
gray for about 5 to 10 seconds at a time.

I have restarted my system. I thought that was what was holding up the
indexing.

Right now I have still .1% complete with about 5.8 idle hours left. only
2,016 items indexed so far.

Im running Boinc with Seti, and it runs constantly. So would it be
correct to assume that as long as that is running GD wont index?
